How We Got Here
It started in the UK apprenticeship and training sector. Operators were using separate systems for learner management, CRM, compliance reporting, and communication — often connected by fragile spreadsheet exports and manual copy-paste.
In 2022, we began building neXmis as an internal tool for a training provider. The core idea was simple: one platform, one data model, one source of truth. Within a year, it had grown beyond a single use-case into a full enterprise platform.
When GPT-4 arrived, we didn't treat AI as a feature to add — we treated it as infrastructure to rebuild around. Every module was redesigned with AI as a first-class concern: AI that runs without user prompts, AI that understands context, AI that makes decisions and explains them.
Today, neXmis runs on K3s Kubernetes, handles tens of thousands of learner records, and powers CRM pipelines, compliance programmes, and marketing automation for organisations across the UK. It's entirely self-hosted — you own your data, you own your infrastructure.
